'... an engaging Kim Crow' Bradenton Herald, Sunday April 16, 1995: Kate Purcell 'Kim Crow makes a welcome contribution with her soft, husky, yet melodious speaking voice, a nice contrast to the often high-pitched machine-gun chatter' |

In me London days ... Francesca in 'Applequires' directed by my tutor Robin Barbary for the Royal College of Art film school. I played Francesca , a young novitiate who leaves the convent, dresses as a fellow and follows her lover on adventures one of which includes being abducted by pirates ... all we needed was the dog. Story of me life :-)

The enchanting cast of The Velveteen Rabbit by Nancy Oliver, Florida Studio Theatre, Kim Crow, dir. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 'There are few more delightful ways to spend an evening than with Hannah and Maude, just a 'coupla white chicks sitting around talking ... Kim Crow directs this contemporary comedy with a light touch.'
Bradenton Herald: Friday: June 11, 1993: Chris Kotchi 'A matching of two compatible actresses in good form ... Kim Crow keeps the action interesting, supplementing the verbal humor with body movements in a good set of a cheery Westchester kitchen ( Rick Cannon, Designer.).' Pelican Press: June 17, 1993: Jean Reed 'Director Kim Crow has staged the play with energy and a true sense of love .. by the end we're caught up in their lives, how one marriage breaks up to as another finds a new spark of life, and the reminder of how friendship can help us through the daily grind.' Sarasota Herald-Tribune; June 5, 1993: Jay Handelman 'A Coupla White Chicks ... is bitingly funny and brilliant' Ms. Murdock and Palmer shine with the light of truth and reality in their performances ... The loud and long laughs, and there are many , are all there. But so is the underlying seriousness of the playwright's message. What that message is I will leave for you to discover. For having seen a previous production of it and having thought that i understood exactly what the playwright was saying, I was completely surprised at the conclusion I reached after seeing TW's 'White Chicks.' I know that one of the reasons for reaching that conclusion was the bold direction of Kim Crow.' |
